International Year of Astronomy 2009
2009 has been chosen by the International Astronomical Union as the International Year of Astronomy (IYA). A range of activities both at the national and international level are planned to help everyone enjoy and appreciate our knowledge of the universe around us.
With a strong research record and substantial experience and resources in bringing science to the public, Monash intends to play a leading role in Victorian IYA activities.
